I got the jacket on, and I want to show you this. Sanity Pioneer 2026. Very happy about that. Thanks everybody at Sanity, really appreciate it. Great event.
Everything NYC, first of all. Wild landing page. I don't know if you've played around with it, but it actually has a full AI agent for this. The conference is at Pioneer Works, which is wild. I don't know if anybody's ever been there, but it's a really cool place. There's also an amazing light show or live art installation that was really cool. I've noticed that Sanity's design game has been going real high. It's looking really cool.
Let's talk about the landing page. If you haven't seen it, there's an Everything 2026 recap. I'm going to tell you exactly what I think of everything on here.
Knowledge bases is an interesting one. I didn't initially know what this was going to be, but effectively if you've used the Sanity context thing, it's kind of similar, but this is far better at creating a giant pool of information and being able to get that information and find out where the content gaps are. You can also find out what people are looking for depending on the level of security, and most importantly, you can find inconsistencies.
Pretty much everybody has tried creating a company portal in a multitude of different ways. We've tried it. We're actually in the process of building a Turboar brain. This was before knowledge base came out, but knowledge base actually makes it better. As soon as you build one of these, it works the exact same way as development. When somebody says as soon as you build a line of development, it's development debt because it's just a matter of time before systems upgrade, code changes, things get deleted.
Knowledge base is interesting because it has this self-sustaining element of it where you can effectively say on your website that your pricing is a tenner to do this, but on your database it actually says that your pricing is 15 quid. Or on documentation it says your returns are 30 days but on the actual product page it says 15 days. Which one's the right one? That's one thing that knowledge base can do very well.
The other thing it can do very well is basically set up an MCP endpoint and then you can have people hit that MCP endpoint and find out exactly what people are searching for. This is really cool for two reasons. One because people are looking for things on your website and you've given them basically a way to interact with that, whether it be by chatbot or search or something else. You can basically hit that endpoint.
But the more interesting thing is that you can use this knowledge base for finding out what your LLMs are looking for if you use it in a certain way. You can feed the LLMs and say here's an endpoint that we're basically putting out there publicly, and then the LLMs can go hit that endpoint and you can serve that information back. But the cool thing is that you can actually find out where those knowledge gaps are. So if all the LLMs are trying to work out what we do for WordPress, I can have a heart attack and say there's no way I'm going to build that crap and then eventually have to be forced down to building WordPress because so many LLMs are going out to basically find that information.
It's really cool. It works with existing Sanity. What was most interesting is it also exists with websites that aren't on Sanity or systems that aren't on Sanity that are able to be scraped, and it also works with PDFs which is pretty wild. Definitely worth looking into. For forward thinking companies, I absolutely think this is going to be the big kicker thing for 2027.
And talking of 2027, 2026 is the year of workflows. Everybody's releasing workflows. There was AI SDK and the workflow SDK and now Eve from Vercel. This is kind of more of a curated workflow system where you can essentially set the steps up.
Where I can see this working, if you haven't done this already, it's really cool, is that you could have somebody on the team, and realistically we should run a lawyer before we actually say anything on our blogs. So we might have multiple steps. We might have first version, AI slop version. The first version basically puts a whole bunch of AI content. We look for a bunch of competitors and say I want to have a blog that outranks A, B, and C. Cool, here's that slop 30,000 character article. Nobody wants to read this crap.
Step two is a human comes in and goes, I don't want to read that. Let me cut it down a little bit. Maybe cut it down to 1,500 characters. Maybe throw a couple of colloquialisms in there. Eventually you're at the point where you think, oh, step two, that's great. There's a human in the loop. I've proof read it. It looks good. Cool, let me move it on to step three.
Step three is your legal team that goes, oh my god, you can't say that. You can't say that. And we'll probably get sued if you say that. So we can go back to step two again. Human comes in the loop. Okay, let me fix this and then push it back to legal until it's completely milquetoast and it says nothing offensive about anybody and we can push it out to the live website. That's realistically one of the use cases of workflows.
But it doesn't have to be just three steps. It could be 20 steps. It could be two steps. It could be an entire AI workflow that goes for 10 steps and then there's only a human at the 10th step. The limit is your imagination. I could see this being super useful, especially with teams that are going for internationalized content. Workflows is going to be huge.
There's also videos on here. These videos weren't here originally, but they're definitely worth a watch.
Content variants is one I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say about. It looks like some variation of content that you're writing. From what I can see, read this bit here. I'll say no more.
Durable functions is this one I'm arguably the most excited for because I'm a big fan of AB testing and personalization and a lot of other stuff. Durable functions is great because you're actually getting these things inside of Sanity. Everything is very native to Sanity.
I can see that the way that this is going is that for example, you have development environments. You probably want to have Next.js and Vercel and that whole thing feels seamless. You can also use Eve and that's like the AI side of things from a development perspective. And then there's a content platform which is Sanity where you have Sanity's durable functions, Sanity's AI actions, Sanity's workflows, and Sanity's knowledge bases, all of these things coming together.
I think there's never been a better time to build like your website, your company support pages, your company AI bot, the processes, the way that if you have a whole returns process, you can basically give that knowledge base and you can give every answer and every question possible that comes from your entire surface of your website, support pages, PDFs, everything. It's a really good time to basically silo the two of those things only when they need to be siloed and basically build two totally separate systems. One that's more focused around the development side, one that's more focused around the content side and marry the two of them up in perfect harmony for headless stuff. It is a very cool time.
Sanity blueprints is neat as well. This one's coming soon, not even a beta. A Sanity blueprint is basically a speed running a function. One of the ones that we've used before was a Sanity blueprint to do redirects. So for example, if you change a page URL, the Sanity function immediately fires off and puts a redirect from page A, which it used to be, to page B. So you don't lose any of the SEO from people that would go to the old page that might be indexed in a whole host of different places. It just redirects to the next one without you even having to think. The beauty of blueprints is it just comes in, it knows how your setup is and it builds it.
This is especially interesting to us because we've had this long-term question about Turboar of should we make this kind of a piecemeal offering or should we have very distinctive repos that people can take from and build.
Project Horizon looks wild is all I'm going to say. There's a lot of very cool things on the horizon that are coming from Sanity. It looks like it's very agentic. Agents use tools, delegate tasks, and move projects through to completion with your team in the loop the whole way. This bit is very cool, and I would be very curious as to how this looks in the future.
Resonance I remember was really cool. Basically resonance is a way of testing content. We saw this when we were looking at it on here with the MGH life sciences folks. It's a great way of being able to get that same sort of committee. If you're going to push something out there and you have a whole bunch of personas that are specific for your market. For us, we might have tech-conscious CTOs that are looking into content work or somebody from marketing that wants to make their entire marketing pipeline faster. Write a whole persona about it and then basically test the blog based on that persona. Does it score well? What do they think it's missing? Where are the content gaps?
Resonance is really good. I could see it being a pharmaceutical company's best friend because you have to do so much work to make sure that you aren't essentially alienating specific folks. You also have to talk in such a language that basically you have to have a computer decode it to be able to figure out what the hell's being talked about. Resonance is a really good one if you're in one of those specific niches that has to make sure that their content lands no matter what.
There's so much to unpack from the event. If anybody has any questions or if anybody was at the event and didn't get a chance to meet up, I'm more than happy to jump on a call or chat. Everything was an absolute blast. Thanks for inviting us.

0:58noticed, I don't know if anybody else is
0:58noticed, I don't know if anybody else is in the same boat, that Sanity's like
1:01in the same boat, that Sanity's like
1:01in the same boat, that Sanity's like design game has been going
1:04design game has been going
1:04design game has been going real high. It's looking really cool. So,
1:06real high. It's looking really cool. So,
1:06real high. It's looking really cool. So, let's start from this. Let's talk about
1:08let's start from this. Let's talk about
1:08let's start from this. Let's talk about So, this is the page. If you haven't

1:11seen it, there is an everything 2026
1:11seen it, there is an everything 2026 recap. I'm just going to go straight fly
1:13recap. I'm just going to go straight fly
1:13recap. I'm just going to go straight fly off the handle and tell you exactly what
1:15off the handle and tell you exactly what
1:15off the handle and tell you exactly what I think of everything on here. Let's
1:17I think of everything on here. Let's
1:17I think of everything on here. Let's start with knowledge bases. Um,
1:18start with knowledge bases. Um,
1:18start with knowledge bases. Um, knowledge basis is an interesting one.
1:20knowledge basis is an interesting one.
1:20knowledge basis is an interesting one. So, I think this is one of those
1:22So, I think this is one of those
1:22So, I think this is one of those misunderstood things because I didn't
1:26misunderstood things because I didn't
1:26misunderstood things because I didn't initially know what this was going to
1:27initially know what this was going to
1:27initially know what this was going to be, but effectively if you have used the
1:30be, but effectively if you have used the
1:30be, but effectively if you have used the sanity context thing, it's kind of
1:33sanity context thing, it's kind of
1:33sanity context thing, it's kind of similar, but this is far better at
1:35similar, but this is far better at
1:36similar, but this is far better at creating like a giant pool of
1:37creating like a giant pool of
1:38creating like a giant pool of information and essentially um being
1:41information and essentially um being
1:41information and essentially um being able to get that information and find
1:43able to get that information and find
1:43able to get that information and find out where the content gaps are and also
1:46out where the content gaps are and also
1:46out where the content gaps are and also find out what people are looking for
1:47find out what people are looking for
1:48find out what people are looking for depending on the the level of security
1:49depending on the the level of security
1:50depending on the the level of security and what you're able to look at um and
1:52and what you're able to look at um and
1:52and what you're able to look at um and also finding inconsistencies which is
1:54also finding inconsistencies which is
1:54also finding inconsistencies which is the most important. Now for the majority
1:57the most important. Now for the majority
1:57the most important. Now for the majority of people out there I'm sure at some
1:59of people out there I'm sure at some
1:59of people out there I'm sure at some point you have tried creating a company
2:01point you have tried creating a company
2:01point you have tried creating a company portal. Uh pretty much everybody has. We
2:04portal. Uh pretty much everybody has. We
2:04portal. Uh pretty much everybody has. We have we've tried it in a multitude of
2:06have we've tried it in a multitude of
2:06have we've tried it in a multitude of different ways. We're actually in the
2:08different ways. We're actually in the
2:08different ways. We're actually in the process of building a Turboar brain.
2:10process of building a Turboar brain.
2:10process of building a Turboar brain. This is before knowledge base came out
2:12This is before knowledge base came out
2:12This is before knowledge base came out but knowledge base actually makes it
2:13but knowledge base actually makes it
2:13but knowledge base actually makes it better but I thought originally it
2:15better but I thought originally it
2:15better but I thought originally it screwed us. Um, but yeah, essentially as
2:18screwed us. Um, but yeah, essentially as
2:18screwed us. Um, but yeah, essentially as soon as you build one of these, it works
2:20soon as you build one of these, it works
2:20soon as you build one of these, it works the exact same way as development. When
2:22the exact same way as development. When
2:22the exact same way as development. When somebody says as soon as you build a
2:23somebody says as soon as you build a
2:23somebody says as soon as you build a line of development, it's development
2:25line of development, it's development
2:25line of development, it's development debt because it's just a matter of time
2:26debt because it's just a matter of time
2:26debt because it's just a matter of time before, you know, systems upgrade, code
2:29before, you know, systems upgrade, code
2:29before, you know, systems upgrade, code changes, things get deleted. Um but
2:32changes, things get deleted. Um but
2:32changes, things get deleted. Um but knowledge basis is interesting because
2:33knowledge basis is interesting because
2:33knowledge basis is interesting because it kind of has this self- sustaining
2:35it kind of has this self- sustaining
2:35it kind of has this self- sustaining element of it where you can effectively
2:38element of it where you can effectively
2:38element of it where you can effectively say on your website it says that your
2:40say on your website it says that your
2:40say on your website it says that your pricing is a tenner to do this but on
2:43pricing is a tenner to do this but on
2:43pricing is a tenner to do this but on your database it actually says that your
2:45your database it actually says that your
2:45your database it actually says that your pricing is 15 quid or on this you know
2:47pricing is 15 quid or on this you know
2:47pricing is 15 quid or on this you know like this documentation site it says
2:50like this documentation site it says
2:50like this documentation site it says that uh your returns are 30 days but on
2:53that uh your returns are 30 days but on
2:53that uh your returns are 30 days but on the actual product page it says 15 days
2:55the actual product page it says 15 days
2:55the actual product page it says 15 days which one's the right one um so that's
2:57which one's the right one um so that's
2:58which one's the right one um so that's one thing that knowledge base can do
2:59one thing that knowledge base can do
2:59one thing that knowledge base can do very well but then the other thing that
3:01very well but then the other thing that
3:01very well but then the other thing that it can do very well is basically set up
3:03it can do very well is basically set up
3:03it can do very well is basically set up an MCP endpoint and then you can have
3:05an MCP endpoint and then you can have
3:05an MCP endpoint and then you can have people hit that MCP endpoint and find
3:08people hit that MCP endpoint and find
3:08people hit that MCP endpoint and find out exactly what people are searching
3:10out exactly what people are searching
3:10out exactly what people are searching for. This is really really cool for two
3:13for. This is really really cool for two
3:13for. This is really really cool for two reasons. One because cool people are
3:16reasons. One because cool people are
3:16reasons. One because cool people are looking for things on your website and
3:18looking for things on your website and
3:18looking for things on your website and you've given them basically a way to
3:20you've given them basically a way to
3:20you've given them basically a way to interact with that whether it be by
3:22interact with that whether it be by
3:22interact with that whether it be by chatbot or a search or something else
3:25chatbot or a search or something else
3:25chatbot or a search or something else you can basically hit that endpoint. But
3:27you can basically hit that endpoint. But
3:27you can basically hit that endpoint. But the more interesting thing is that you
3:29the more interesting thing is that you
3:29the more interesting thing is that you can use this knowledge base for finding
3:31can use this knowledge base for finding
3:31can use this knowledge base for finding out what your LLMs are looking for if
3:33out what your LLMs are looking for if
3:33out what your LLMs are looking for if you use it in a certain way. So you can
3:35you use it in a certain way. So you can
3:35you use it in a certain way. So you can actually feed the LLMs and say, "Oh,
3:37actually feed the LLMs and say, "Oh,
3:37actually feed the LLMs and say, "Oh, here's an endpoint that we're basically
3:38here's an endpoint that we're basically
3:38here's an endpoint that we're basically putting out there publicly." Um, and
3:40putting out there publicly." Um, and
3:40putting out there publicly." Um, and then the LLMs can go hit that endpoint
3:42then the LLMs can go hit that endpoint
3:42then the LLMs can go hit that endpoint and then you can serve that information
3:44and then you can serve that information
3:44and then you can serve that information back. But then the cool thing is is that
3:46back. But then the cool thing is is that
3:46back. But then the cool thing is is that you can actually find out where those
3:47you can actually find out where those
3:47you can actually find out where those knowledge gaps are. So if for example
3:49knowledge gaps are. So if for example
3:49knowledge gaps are. So if for example all the LLM are trying to work out what
3:52all the LLM are trying to work out what
3:52all the LLM are trying to work out what we do for WordPress, I can have a heart
3:55we do for WordPress, I can have a heart
3:55we do for WordPress, I can have a heart attack and say there's no way I'm going
3:56attack and say there's no way I'm going
3:56attack and say there's no way I'm going to build that crap and then eventually
3:58to build that crap and then eventually
3:58to build that crap and then eventually have to be forced down to building
4:00have to be forced down to building
4:00have to be forced down to building WordPress because so many so many LLMs
4:03WordPress because so many so many LLMs
4:03WordPress because so many so many LLMs are going out to basically find that
4:04are going out to basically find that
4:04are going out to basically find that information. You get the idea. Anyway,
4:07information. You get the idea. Anyway,
4:07information. You get the idea. Anyway, it's really cool. It works with existing
4:10it's really cool. It works with existing
4:10it's really cool. It works with existing sanity. Um, and what was the most
4:12sanity. Um, and what was the most
4:12sanity. Um, and what was the most interesting thing is it also exists with
4:15interesting thing is it also exists with
4:15interesting thing is it also exists with websites that aren't on sanity or
4:17websites that aren't on sanity or
4:17websites that aren't on sanity or systems that aren't on sanity that are
4:18systems that aren't on sanity that are
4:18systems that aren't on sanity that are able to be scraped and it also works
4:20able to be scraped and it also works
4:20able to be scraped and it also works with PDFs which is pretty wild. So, it's
4:23with PDFs which is pretty wild. So, it's
4:23with PDFs which is pretty wild. So, it's very cool. Definitely worth looking
4:25very cool. Definitely worth looking
4:25very cool. Definitely worth looking into. And for forward thinking
4:27into. And for forward thinking
4:27into. And for forward thinking companies, I absolutely think this is
4:29companies, I absolutely think this is
4:29companies, I absolutely think this is going to be the big kicker thing for I
4:31going to be the big kicker thing for I
4:31going to be the big kicker thing for I guess 2027.
4:38And talking of 2027, this is it. This is
4:38And talking of 2027, this is it. This is like the year, in fact, 2026 is like the
4:40like the year, in fact, 2026 is like the
4:40like the year, in fact, 2026 is like the year of workflows. So, everybody's
4:41year of workflows. So, everybody's
4:41year of workflows. So, everybody's releasing workflows. I think there was
4:43releasing workflows. I think there was
4:43releasing workflows. I think there was like um AI SDK and the workflow SDK and
4:49like um AI SDK and the workflow SDK and
4:49like um AI SDK and the workflow SDK and now Eve from Versel. And this is kind of
4:51now Eve from Versel. And this is kind of
4:52now Eve from Versel. And this is kind of more of a curated workflow system where
4:54more of a curated workflow system where
4:54more of a curated workflow system where you can essentially set the steps up.
4:57you can essentially set the steps up.
4:57you can essentially set the steps up. Um, where I can see this working, if you
4:59Um, where I can see this working, if you
4:59Um, where I can see this working, if you haven't done this already, it's really,
5:00haven't done this already, it's really,
5:00haven't done this already, it's really, really cool, is that you could actually
5:02really cool, is that you could actually
5:02really cool, is that you could actually have somebody on the team, say for
5:04have somebody on the team, say for
5:04have somebody on the team, say for example, you have um, what we probably
5:07example, you have um, what we probably
5:07example, you have um, what we probably should do, which is realistically we
5:08should do, which is realistically we
5:08should do, which is realistically we should run a lawyer before we actually
5:10should run a lawyer before we actually
5:10should run a lawyer before we actually say anything on our blogs, right? So, we
5:12say anything on our blogs, right? So, we
5:12say anything on our blogs, right? So, we might have multiple steps. We might have
5:14might have multiple steps. We might have
5:14might have multiple steps. We might have first version, AI slot version. So, the
5:16first version, AI slot version. So, the
5:16first version, AI slot version. So, the first version basically puts puts a
5:18first version basically puts puts a
5:18first version basically puts puts a whole bunch of AI content. We go look
5:20whole bunch of AI content. We go look
5:20whole bunch of AI content. We go look for a bunch of competitors and we say,
5:21for a bunch of competitors and we say,
5:21for a bunch of competitors and we say, "Oh, I want to have an a blog that
5:23"Oh, I want to have an a blog that
5:23"Oh, I want to have an a blog that outranks A, B, and C." Cool. Here's that
5:27outranks A, B, and C." Cool. Here's that
5:27outranks A, B, and C." Cool. Here's that slop 30,000 character article. Nobody
5:30slop 30,000 character article. Nobody
5:30slop 30,000 character article. Nobody wants to read this crap. So then the
5:32wants to read this crap. So then the
5:32wants to read this crap. So then the step two is a human comes in and goes,
5:33step two is a human comes in and goes,
5:34step two is a human comes in and goes, "Wow, I don't want to read that. Let me
5:35"Wow, I don't want to read that. Let me
5:35"Wow, I don't want to read that. Let me cut it down a little bit. Maybe cut it
5:37cut it down a little bit. Maybe cut it
5:37cut it down a little bit. Maybe cut it down to 1,500 characters. Maybe throw a
5:40down to 1,500 characters. Maybe throw a
5:40down to 1,500 characters. Maybe throw a couple of colloquialisms in there." Um,
5:42couple of colloquialisms in there." Um,
5:42couple of colloquialisms in there." Um, and then eventually eventually you're at
5:44and then eventually eventually you're at
5:44and then eventually eventually you're at the point of where you're like, "Oh,
5:45the point of where you're like, "Oh,
5:45the point of where you're like, "Oh, step two, that's great. There's a human
5:47step two, that's great. There's a human
5:47step two, that's great. There's a human in the loop. I've proof read it. It
5:49in the loop. I've proof read it. It
5:49in the loop. I've proof read it. It looks good. Cool. Let me move it on to
5:51looks good. Cool. Let me move it on to
5:51looks good. Cool. Let me move it on to step three." Step three is your legal
5:53step three." Step three is your legal
5:53step three." Step three is your legal team that goes, "Oh my god, you can't
5:55team that goes, "Oh my god, you can't
5:55team that goes, "Oh my god, you can't say that. You can't say that. And we'll
5:57say that. You can't say that. And we'll
5:57say that. You can't say that. And we'll probably get sued if you say that." So,
6:00probably get sued if you say that." So,
6:00probably get sued if you say that." So, we can go back to step two again. Human
6:02we can go back to step two again. Human
6:02we can go back to step two again. Human comes in the loop. Okay, let me fix this
6:05comes in the loop. Okay, let me fix this
6:05comes in the loop. Okay, let me fix this and then push it back to legal until
6:06and then push it back to legal until
6:06and then push it back to legal until it's completely milk toast and it says
6:08it's completely milk toast and it says
6:08it's completely milk toast and it says nothing offensive about anybody and we
6:10nothing offensive about anybody and we
6:10nothing offensive about anybody and we can push it out to the to the live
6:11can push it out to the to the live
6:11can push it out to the to the live website. That's realistically one of the
6:14website. That's realistically one of the
6:14website. That's realistically one of the use cases of workflows. But it doesn't
6:16use cases of workflows. But it doesn't
6:16use cases of workflows. But it doesn't have to be just three steps. It could be
6:19have to be just three steps. It could be
6:19have to be just three steps. It could be 20 steps. It could be two steps. It
6:2120 steps. It could be two steps. It
6:2120 steps. It could be two steps. It could be an entire AI workflow that goes
6:23could be an entire AI workflow that goes
6:23could be an entire AI workflow that goes for 10 steps and then there's only a
6:25for 10 steps and then there's only a
6:25for 10 steps and then there's only a human at the 10th step. Um, obviously
6:28human at the 10th step. Um, obviously
6:28human at the 10th step. Um, obviously the limit is your imagination. I could
6:30the limit is your imagination. I could
6:30the limit is your imagination. I could see this being super useful, especially
6:32see this being super useful, especially
6:32see this being super useful, especially with teams that are going for
6:33with teams that are going for
6:33with teams that are going for internationalized content. Workflows is
6:36internationalized content. Workflows is
6:36internationalized content. Workflows is going to be huge. Um, there's also
6:38going to be huge. Um, there's also
6:38going to be huge. Um, there's also videos on here. So, I'm seeing these
6:40videos on here. So, I'm seeing these
6:40videos on here. So, I'm seeing these videos pop up. These weren't here
6:41videos pop up. These weren't here
6:41videos pop up. These weren't here originally, but they're definitely worth
6:43originally, but they're definitely worth
6:43originally, but they're definitely worth a watch. Um,
6:46a watch. Um,
6:46a watch. Um, and then content variants.
6:49and then content variants.
6:49and then content variants. I don't know how much I'm allowed to say
6:51I don't know how much I'm allowed to say
6:51I don't know how much I'm allowed to say about this one. So, I'm going to skip
6:52about this one. So, I'm going to skip
6:52about this one. So, I'm going to skip content variants before I get myself in
6:54content variants before I get myself in
6:54content variants before I get myself in trouble. Um, but from what I can see
6:56trouble. Um, but from what I can see
6:56trouble. Um, but from what I can see here, it looks like some variation of
6:59here, it looks like some variation of
6:59here, it looks like some variation of content that you're writing. I'm going
7:01content that you're writing. I'm going
7:01content that you're writing. I'm going to leave that purposefully vague. Yeah,
7:03to leave that purposefully vague. Yeah,
7:03to leave that purposefully vague. Yeah, read this bit here. I'll say no more.
7:06read this bit here. I'll say no more.
7:06read this bit here. I'll say no more. But this one I am very interested in.
7:07But this one I am very interested in.
7:08But this one I am very interested in. This one I am probably arguably the most
7:11This one I am probably arguably the most
7:11This one I am probably arguably the most excited for because I'm a big fan of AB
7:13excited for because I'm a big fan of AB
7:14excited for because I'm a big fan of AB testing and personalization and a lot of
7:15testing and personalization and a lot of
7:16testing and personalization and a lot of other stuff. Um, durable functions is
7:18other stuff. Um, durable functions is
7:18other stuff. Um, durable functions is great because you're actually getting
7:19great because you're actually getting
7:19great because you're actually getting these things inside of sanity. So,
7:21these things inside of sanity. So,
7:21these things inside of sanity. So, everything is very native to sanity. Um,
7:24everything is very native to sanity. Um,
7:24everything is very native to sanity. Um, I personally can see that the way that
7:26I personally can see that the way that
7:26I personally can see that the way that this is going is that for example, you
7:28this is going is that for example, you
7:28this is going is that for example, you have development environments. Uh, you
7:30have development environments. Uh, you
7:30have development environments. Uh, you probably want to have nex.js and versel
7:32probably want to have nex.js and versel
7:32probably want to have nex.js and versel and that whole thing feels seamless. You
7:34and that whole thing feels seamless. You
7:34and that whole thing feels seamless. You can also use Eve and that's like the AI
7:37can also use Eve and that's like the AI
7:37can also use Eve and that's like the AI side of things from a development
7:38side of things from a development
7:38side of things from a development perspective. And then there's a content
7:41perspective. And then there's a content
7:41perspective. And then there's a content platform which is sanity where you have
7:43platform which is sanity where you have
7:43platform which is sanity where you have like sanity is durable functions.
7:45like sanity is durable functions.
7:45like sanity is durable functions. Sanity's AI actions, um, Sanity's
7:48Sanity's AI actions, um, Sanity's
7:48Sanity's AI actions, um, Sanity's workflows, and again, Sanity's knowledge
7:50workflows, and again, Sanity's knowledge
7:50workflows, and again, Sanity's knowledge bases, all of these things coming
7:51bases, all of these things coming
7:51bases, all of these things coming together. I think there's never been a
7:54together. I think there's never been a
7:54together. I think there's never been a better time to build like your website,
7:57better time to build like your website,
7:58better time to build like your website, your company uh support pages, uh your
8:01your company uh support pages, uh your
8:01your company uh support pages, uh your company AI bot, the processes, the the
8:04company AI bot, the processes, the the
8:04company AI bot, the processes, the the way that you know like for example, if
8:06way that you know like for example, if
8:06way that you know like for example, if you have a whole returns process, you
8:08you have a whole returns process, you
8:08you have a whole returns process, you can basically give that knowledge base
8:10can basically give that knowledge base
8:10can basically give that knowledge base and you can give every answer and every
8:11and you can give every answer and every
8:11and you can give every answer and every question possible that comes from your
8:13question possible that comes from your
8:13question possible that comes from your entire surface of your website, support
8:15entire surface of your website, support
8:15entire surface of your website, support pages, PDFs, yada yada, everything. So,
8:19pages, PDFs, yada yada, everything. So,
8:19pages, PDFs, yada yada, everything. So, it's a really really good time to
8:21it's a really really good time to
8:21it's a really really good time to basically silo the two of those things
8:24basically silo the two of those things
8:24basically silo the two of those things only when they need to be siloed and
8:25only when they need to be siloed and
8:25only when they need to be siloed and basically build two totally separate
8:27basically build two totally separate
8:27basically build two totally separate systems. One that's more focused around
8:29systems. One that's more focused around
8:29systems. One that's more focused around kind of the development side, one that's
8:31kind of the development side, one that's
8:31kind of the development side, one that's more focused around the content side and
8:33more focused around the content side and
8:33more focused around the content side and marry the two of them up in perfect
8:36marry the two of them up in perfect
8:36marry the two of them up in perfect harmony for headless stuff. So, it is it
8:38harmony for headless stuff. So, it is it
8:38harmony for headless stuff. So, it is it is a very cool time.
8:40is a very cool time.
8:40is a very cool time. Um, this is also neat as well. So, this
8:42Um, this is also neat as well. So, this
8:42Um, this is also neat as well. So, this one's again a coming soon, not even a
8:44one's again a coming soon, not even a
8:44one's again a coming soon, not even a beta. Um, but I like the idea of this.
8:47beta. Um, but I like the idea of this.
8:47beta. Um, but I like the idea of this. If you haven't used a sanity blueprint
8:49If you haven't used a sanity blueprint
8:49If you haven't used a sanity blueprint before, a sanity blueprint is basically
8:51before, a sanity blueprint is basically
8:51before, a sanity blueprint is basically a like speed running a function. Um, so
8:54a like speed running a function. Um, so
8:54a like speed running a function. Um, so one of the ones that we've used before
8:55one of the ones that we've used before
8:55one of the ones that we've used before was there was a sanity blueprint to do
8:57was there was a sanity blueprint to do
8:57was there was a sanity blueprint to do redirects. So for example, if you change
9:00redirects. So for example, if you change
9:00redirects. So for example, if you change a page URL, the sanity function
9:02a page URL, the sanity function
9:02a page URL, the sanity function immediately fires off and puts a
9:04immediately fires off and puts a
9:04immediately fires off and puts a redirect in from page A, which it used
9:06redirect in from page A, which it used
9:06redirect in from page A, which it used to be, to page B. Um, so in other words,
9:10to be, to page B. Um, so in other words,
9:10to be, to page B. Um, so in other words, you don't lose any of the SEO from
9:12you don't lose any of the SEO from
9:12you don't lose any of the SEO from people that would go to the old page
9:13people that would go to the old page
9:13people that would go to the old page that might be indexed in a whole host of
9:15that might be indexed in a whole host of
9:15that might be indexed in a whole host of different places. it just redirects to
9:17different places. it just redirects to
9:17different places. it just redirects to the next one without you even having to
9:19the next one without you even having to
9:19the next one without you even having to think. The beauty of blueprints is it
9:21think. The beauty of blueprints is it
9:21think. The beauty of blueprints is it just comes in, it knows how your setup
9:23just comes in, it knows how your setup
9:23just comes in, it knows how your setup is and it and it builds it. This is
9:26is and it and it builds it. This is
9:26is and it and it builds it. This is especially interesting to us because
9:27especially interesting to us because
9:27especially interesting to us because we've had this long-term kind of
9:29we've had this long-term kind of
9:29we've had this long-term kind of question about Turboar of should we make
9:33question about Turboar of should we make
9:33question about Turboar of should we make this kind of a peacemeal offering or
9:35this kind of a peacemeal offering or
9:35this kind of a peacemeal offering or should we have very distinctive repos
9:38should we have very distinctive repos
9:38should we have very distinctive repos that people can take from and build. Um,
9:41that people can take from and build. Um,
9:41that people can take from and build. Um, so it's very very cool.
9:49And I'm curious if I'm allowed to say
9:49And I'm curious if I'm allowed to say anything about this as well. I'm
9:50anything about this as well. I'm
9:50anything about this as well. I'm probably going to get in trouble with a
9:51probably going to get in trouble with a
9:51probably going to get in trouble with a little something in here. I can
9:52little something in here. I can
9:52little something in here. I can guarantee. But essentially, Project
9:54guarantee. But essentially, Project
9:54guarantee. But essentially, Project Horizon looks wild is all I'm going to
9:56Horizon looks wild is all I'm going to
9:56Horizon looks wild is all I'm going to say. There's a lot of very very cool
9:59say. There's a lot of very very cool
9:59say. There's a lot of very very cool things
10:01things
10:01things on the horizon that are coming from
10:04on the horizon that are coming from
10:04on the horizon that are coming from sanity. Um, but yeah, so Project Horizon
10:07sanity. Um, but yeah, so Project Horizon
10:07sanity. Um, but yeah, so Project Horizon is really cool. It looks like it's very
10:09is really cool. It looks like it's very
10:09is really cool. It looks like it's very agentic. I'm trying to figure out what I
10:11agentic. I'm trying to figure out what I
10:11agentic. I'm trying to figure out what I can say here. agents, use tools,
10:12can say here. agents, use tools,
10:12can say here. agents, use tools, delegate tasks, and move projects
10:13delegate tasks, and move projects
10:13delegate tasks, and move projects through to completion with your team in
10:15through to completion with your team in
10:15through to completion with your team in the loop the whole way. Yes, this bit,
10:18the loop the whole way. Yes, this bit,
10:18the loop the whole way. Yes, this bit, this bit is very cool, and I would be
10:21this bit is very cool, and I would be
10:21this bit is very cool, and I would be very curious as to how this looks in the
10:24very curious as to how this looks in the
10:24very curious as to how this looks in the future. I'm hoping there's something on
10:25future. I'm hoping there's something on
10:25future. I'm hoping there's something on here. So, hopefully Magnus's uh video
10:28here. So, hopefully Magnus's uh video
10:28here. So, hopefully Magnus's uh video has some of this. I think there was from
10:31has some of this. I think there was from
10:31has some of this. I think there was from memory. Oh, I can talk about resonance
10:33memory. Oh, I can talk about resonance
10:33memory. Oh, I can talk about resonance as well. So, resonance I remember was
10:35as well. So, resonance I remember was
10:35as well. So, resonance I remember was really cool. Um, basically resonance is
10:37really cool. Um, basically resonance is
10:37really cool. Um, basically resonance is a way of testing content. We saw this
10:41a way of testing content. We saw this
10:41a way of testing content. We saw this when we were looking at it on here with
10:43when we were looking at it on here with
10:43when we were looking at it on here with the MGH MJH life sciences folks. Um,
10:46the MGH MJH life sciences folks. Um,
10:46the MGH MJH life sciences folks. Um, basically it's a great way of being able
10:49basically it's a great way of being able
10:49basically it's a great way of being able to kind of get that same sort of
10:50to kind of get that same sort of
10:50to kind of get that same sort of committee. So, you know how if you're
10:52committee. So, you know how if you're
10:52committee. So, you know how if you're going to go push something out there and
10:54going to go push something out there and
10:54going to go push something out there and you have a whole bunch of personas that
10:55you have a whole bunch of personas that
10:55you have a whole bunch of personas that are specific for your market. So, for
10:58are specific for your market. So, for
10:58are specific for your market. So, for us, we might have techconcious CTOs that
11:01us, we might have techconcious CTOs that
11:01us, we might have techconcious CTOs that are looking into content work. uh or
11:03are looking into content work. uh or
11:03are looking into content work. uh or somebody from marketing that wants to
11:04somebody from marketing that wants to
11:04somebody from marketing that wants to make their entire marketing pipeline
11:06make their entire marketing pipeline
11:06make their entire marketing pipeline faster, write a whole persona about it
11:09faster, write a whole persona about it
11:09faster, write a whole persona about it and then basically test the blog based
11:12and then basically test the blog based
11:12and then basically test the blog based on that persona. Does it score well?
11:15on that persona. Does it score well?
11:15on that persona. Does it score well? What do they think it's missing? Where
11:16What do they think it's missing? Where
11:16What do they think it's missing? Where are the content gaps? That kind of
11:18are the content gaps? That kind of
11:18are the content gaps? That kind of thing. Resonance is really, really good.
11:20thing. Resonance is really, really good.
11:20thing. Resonance is really, really good. I could see it being like a
11:21I could see it being like a
11:21I could see it being like a pharmaceutical company's best friend
11:24pharmaceutical company's best friend
11:24pharmaceutical company's best friend because you have to do so much work to
11:25because you have to do so much work to
11:26because you have to do so much work to make sure that you aren't essentially
11:27make sure that you aren't essentially
11:27make sure that you aren't essentially alienating specific folks. And you also
11:30alienating specific folks. And you also
11:30alienating specific folks. And you also have to talk in such a language that
11:31have to talk in such a language that
11:31have to talk in such a language that basically you have to have a computer
11:33basically you have to have a computer
11:33basically you have to have a computer decode it to be able to figure out what
11:34decode it to be able to figure out what
11:34decode it to be able to figure out what the hell's being talk talked about. So
11:37the hell's being talk talked about. So
11:37the hell's being talk talked about. So resonance is a really really good one if
11:40resonance is a really really good one if
11:40resonance is a really really good one if you're in one of those specific niches
11:42you're in one of those specific niches
11:42you're in one of those specific niches that has to make sure that their content
11:44that has to make sure that their content
11:44that has to make sure that their content lands no matter what. And this was
11:47lands no matter what. And this was
11:47lands no matter what. And this was actually a really interesting talk and
11:48actually a really interesting talk and
11:48actually a really interesting talk and I'm actually at the bottom of this and
11:52I'm actually at the bottom of this and
11:52I'm actually at the bottom of this and yeah like I said it's there's so much to
11:54yeah like I said it's there's so much to
11:54yeah like I said it's there's so much to unpack from the event. Um, but if
11:57unpack from the event. Um, but if
11:57unpack from the event. Um, but if anybody has any questions or if anybody
11:59anybody has any questions or if anybody
11:59anybody has any questions or if anybody was at the event and didn't get a chance
12:00was at the event and didn't get a chance
12:00was at the event and didn't get a chance to meet up, I'm more than happy to jump
12:02to meet up, I'm more than happy to jump
12:02to meet up, I'm more than happy to jump on a call, chat, whatever. Um, yeah,
12:06on a call, chat, whatever. Um, yeah,
12:06on a call, chat, whatever. Um, yeah, everything was an absolute blast. Thanks
12:09everything was an absolute blast. Thanks
12:09everything was an absolute blast. Thanks for inviting us. Thanks for listening.
12:12for inviting us. Thanks for listening.

Questions answered
Editorial answers from the original Roboto page.
What is Sanity's knowledge base feature?
Knowledge base creates a giant pool of information from your content and helps you find gaps and inconsistencies across your website, database, documentation, and PDFs. You can use it to spot when pricing differs between your site and database, or when return policies contradict each other across different pages, helping you maintain accurate information everywhere.
Read the original ↗How can knowledge bases help with content inconsistencies?
It surfaces conflicts like when your website says pricing is ten pounds but your database says fifteen, or when documentation claims thirty-day returns but your product page says fifteen days. You can then identify which information is correct and update your systems accordingly to keep everything aligned.
Read the original ↗What are Sanity workflows and how do they work?
Workflows let you set up multiple steps for content approval and refinement. For example, you might have an AI generate a draft, a human editor cut it down and add personality, then a legal team review it before publishing.
